Good coffee, Good Cause. This coffee is from the Central Plateau region and has a total of 680 farmers. Creating sustainable jobs in Haiti using Coffee, the cooperative is paid roughly 300% higher wages than the FT minimum - not out of charity but for having an exceptional product.
Our Haiti Blue coffee is shade grown in the blue pine forest, which is a rarity in Haiti to have that kind of forest cover.
We roast to a medium roast, creating a mellow, smooth, and creamy body. Acidity is low, body is medium and complexity is medium. Roasted almonds, buttery mouthfeel. Sweet, smooth finish with astonishing balance.
perfect balanced flavor, loved that it has low acidity
Thanks
One of the better tasting coffee I have ordered, smooth, clean, sweet with no aftertaste.
An excellent coffee with a smooth sweetness. One of my favorites.
To me, this coffee tastes very similar to Jamaican Blue Mountain beans...some of the nutty flavor but more floral. Try it!
