Rwanda Coffee from the Gakenke Region and is Woman owned from the Hingakawa cooperative. Since joining the Café Femenino Program, the women farmers of Hingakawa have increased their income, their ability to organize, and their leadership opportunities. Survivors and leaders to their core, nearly half of the women farmers of this community became sole providers for their families after their husbands were killed or jailed during the 1994 genocide.
