Baba chose 2 Peaberry Coffees for you
Normally the coffee "cherry" contains two seeds (beans) that develop with flattened facing sides, but sometimes only one of the two seeds is fertilized, and the single seed develops with nothing to flatten it. This oval bean is known as peaberry. Only 5% of beans harvested as peaberry coffee and it's typically sweeter, lighter, and more flavorful than regular beans from the same crop. Baba said that peaberry beans roast better and more evenly than flat beans.
Here are Baba’s choice of 2 peaberry coffees.
Papua New Guinea Peaberry Coffee
It is said the seedling of the Papua New Guinea is actually the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and planted in Papua New Guinea. We have found this coffee to have distinct chocolate and apricot notes.
